NPAG aspires to be the leading facilitator in bringing specialists together across our National Health Service, and beyond.
As we move towards more accessible, more sustainable and more effective healthcare, NPAG is uniquely placed to support managers in new and innovative ways. Through national groups and the NPAGNetwork we can help provide exemplars of great practice, give access to experts in the different fields and provide forums to reflect upon and debate these fundamental changes. Our national events will continue to offer access to a wide range of high-profile speakers.
NPAG offers the following core services:
Conferences
We host annual national conferences and events with industry leaders presenting on relevant policy and strategic initiatives, in addition to organisational topics. The events support mangers in addressing operational, change management and best value agendas. Today, we run four conferences annually. The conferences have successfully emerged from NPAG’s Best Value Group health service areas covering national district nurses, clinical engineering, operating theatres and decontamination and waste, energy and sustainability.
Best Value Groups
Our Best Value Groups enable peers to meet, network, share experience and identify good practice, innovation and information to assist them in developing their own service improvement action plans. There are currently around 20 different BVGs focusing on specific NHS services.
We have around 700 NPAG members across our groups – all benefitting from best practice learning, knowledge sharing and networking. Today, we proudly support over 50% of NHS Trusts including some of the biggest and highest profile across the UK.
NPAGNetwork
Created to support members in their day-to-day roles, the NPAGNetWork permits subscribers to ask their peers for advice and support through a managed question and answer networking system. The NPAGNetWork opens the opportunity for others to connect to a wider number of contacts throughout a wide number of Trusts.
Training workshops
We offer a range of nationally available training workshops. Working with a network of highly qualified and inspiring trainers, we assist them in delivering a bespoke product that is suited to organisational and individual needs.
All our groups, meetings and events are CPD certified. NPAG is a member of the CPD Certification Service and we secure CPD approval and we ensure members receive certification towards their continued professional or personal development for attendance at group meetings.
